From a “very very bad” to a “very bad” – Air quality in Europe report by EEA

Not as bad, but not good either. Minor trend of improvement of air quality in Europe is being reported by a recently released document from European Environmental Agency (No 13/2017).

Majority of Europeans is breathing air that contains pollution at the level exceeding suggested standards. However, legislation changes from recent years and political commitments have lead to reduced emission of pollutants. That means while we give off less pollution our environment and human health remain under impact of toxic elements.

Efforts to limit particle and gas emission are being noticed in various international measurements, and that is really great news. We are on our way to mend things up. Keep up the good work!
